Give Canvassers the Slip - May 4th 2005

The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG UK) continues its Bikers Are Voters campaign up to the eleventh hour.

Fed up with parliamentary candidates' canvassers and election bumf being handed out or pushed through the letter box? MAG says its time to give them the slip!

The last flurry of campaigning will see the parties and their candidates trying to swing your vote from outside railway stations, libraries, shops and on election day near polling stations.

MAG Director Of Public Affairs says, "This is a final pitch to candidates to remind then that Bikers Are Voters and to take riders' views into consideration when they are elected to parliament."

It doesn't all end after MPs take their seats in parliament. MAG will be contacting the new parliamentarians and presenting the issues based on replies from our Bikers Are Voters Questionnaires.

So simply print off the "Give Canvassers the Slip" and when approached by candidates, their agents or canvassers give them the slip. Let them know that Bikers Are Voters.
