Official Kawasaki British Superbike team Hawk Kawasaki invite you to see life through their eyes in 2005.

In a championship first the Hawk Kawasaki team will be the subject of a fourteen-part documentary series following them throughout the year. The fly-on-the-wall film crew will have full access to the team, the garages, the workshops and the riders as they challenge for the coveted Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

The series, which commences in July and will be shown on satellite television, will give fans a unique insight into the life of the riders, the team staff and the day-to-day workings of a leading British Superbike squad.

Filming has already commenced, with sections filmed at the NEC and during the build-up to the season. The series will be produced by Yorkshire based TwoTwenty Films and the project is headed up by bike fan Mike Lehan.

"This is a really exciting project and a first for British Television. Never has a bike team been the subject of such close scrutiny and already we are getting fantastic footage", quotes Mike. "Hawk were the perfect choice to be part of the series, as they are a very hard-working, close-knit team. The filming follows every aspect of the team's life, including what they get up to on their days off. It's been eye-opening for me and I'm sure it will be for fans of British Superbikes."

Hawk Kawasaki are delighted to be the subjects of such an in-depth view and are looking forward to seeing the finished result.

"The series is fantastic news for Hawk and the British Superbike fans", comments Stuart Hicken, Hawk Kawasaki team owner "I don't think anyone has ever given the public this kind of insight into how a British Superbike team operates, so I'm sure it will be great viewing. It's a little weird, having a camera crew following you everywhere, but we are starting to get used to it!"
