As part of a series of changes prior to the second round of the Vivaldi
British Supermoto Championship organisers have announced that entry fees are to be slashed.
The new cost to enter a single round of the championship is £65 for SM1 and
SM2 classes with a £30 entry fee for the "Junior Challenge" SM4 class.
This brings the British Championship in line with other series currently
running in the UK and is aimed at giving everyone a chance to take on the
best riders in the country.
The ACU's Eddie Nelson said the organisers and sponsors were looking to
boost the grids at future rounds.
"There is now no reason for any rider not to have a crack at the British
Championship. We are looking to encourage everyone to have a go and full
grids will greatly add to the spectacle of what is already a very exciting
sport."
