The IFMXF new season starts with the unique europewide Freestyle Motocross series, the NIGHT of the JUMPs. At these races almost 8 of the best riders of the International Freestyle Motocross Federation (IFMXF) battle for world cup points. Two more well known riders will be invited and a further two hungry amateurs will complete the starting line up at every NIGHT of the JUMPs. After 10 NIGHT of the JUMPs in Europe the NIGHT of the JUMPs champion will be crowned in Cologne.
The riders will fight for more IFMXF World Ranking Points at several C- and D-Class events in the world. From October 2005 the 10 top riders of the world-ranking list will battle it out to see, who will be world cup champion.
At the IFMXF-series the Freestyle Motocross riders (all professionals) have to give their best and be highly concentrated. They will battle it out directly under the roof of the arenas and fight in three disciplines for points.

The athletes jump span 30 meters wide and 11 meters high. Spectacular flights with handstands on the handlebar, running next to the bike at heights up to 11 meters and backflips should have the crowd screaming in extasy.
Incredible jumps with lots of music rapid bikes and amazing pyro technics. The NIGHT of the JUMPs inspires for many years a constantly growing fan base and turn each IFMXF sports festival into an incredible and unforgetten event. Inbetween races, shows entertain and whip the crowd masses in preperation for the final round.
In spite of all the show, Freestyle Motocross is an ever growing sport, taking into account that every participating rider at the NIGHT of the JUMPs is a professional, making their living from the sport. Each race of the series is highly awarded with prize money. In addition the NIGHT of the JUMPs will get more sports importance as the prize money for 2005 will be more than 500.000,00 Euro.
