The Sendo Superbike Team will not be attending this week's race meeting at
Knockhill because of financial reasons. Sendo and Dienza Performance are
working together to find alternative arrangements for the team to complete
the season.
Dienza Performance has been involved in motorcycle racing for seven years
and has consistently fielded a competitive team of riders.
Spokesperson for the team, Enzo DiClemente, commented; "We are as
disappointed by this situation as our fans are but hope to resolve the
situation quickly. We sincerely apologise to all concerned that we will not
be at the Knockhill meeting, to our loyal fans, as well as our other
sponsors, riders and team members, race organisers."
Dienza Performance confirmed that it is not in any financial difficulty.
Dienza has a fully operational team comprising of dedicated riders,
mechanics, hospitality crew, bikes, trucks and drivers. Dienza hopes to be
at the Snetterton race meeting even more determined to get the riders and
team back at the front of the grid.
Enzo DiClemente added, "We have a very loyal team around us and our goal is
to continue the season."
