On Thursday 7th July 2005, terrorists attacked London killing and injuring
innocent members of society. People like you, me and those around you - just
going about doing their business.
On 21st August 2005 the motorcycling community will come together, to
show their respect to those who lost their lives and appreciation of the
freedom we enjoy.
The London Bikers Community is hosting an event to bring all bikers across
the nation together as a mark of respect to the people and families who
lost their lives and loved ones on that day. They will be travelling to
each of the four sites and leaving wreaths.
This has the full backing of the Metropolitan police and they will also be
collecting money on the way around as well for the family of these people.
Where is it happening?
Their are convenient meeting points around London. Rides will lead away
from these points to a central point - the inner circle of Regents Park
whereby the Metropolitan Police will provide an escort through the city to
the locations of the atrocities for wreath laying, and then onto signing the
book of condolences.
Meeting points:
- The Ace Cafe, A406
- The Oakdene Cafe, Wrotham
- High Beech, Epping
- Box Hill, Surrey
- London Colney, M25
- Inner Circle, Regents Park
