The conditions were slightly better for tonights pracice session, the particularly strong wind that had dogged practice sessions earlier in the week had abated slightly.

The Team Black Horse and Stobart mechanics were certainly on the ball tonight, again getting Lougher out in the first duo in the solo practice.

Astride the Stobart Motorsport Superbike, Ian was once again coupled with Guy Martin on the AIM Yamaha and agreed to let Guy take the lead.

After two laps on the Honda Superbike Lougher switched to the Superstock 1000cc Team Black Horse Fireblade for one lap, giving the technicians time to make some further changes on the Stobart Honda machine before Ian squeezed in one more lap on the Superbike in closing minutes of the solo session.

Meanwhile further down the field things were coming together well for Mark Buckley on the Team Black Horse Superstock machine mixing it amongst the Superbikes, having knocked nine seconds off his best lap time last night, the Scotchman was able to knock a futher three seconds off his previous best time.

As expected the pace has increasedand we are still experimenting with set-up but we have still gone forwards and thats the main thing.

Mark Buckley: " Another three seconds off my best time tonight is great. I feel it's all coming together well and as soon as the session stops I can't wait for the next time."
