    Monza has frequently been a venue of triumph for the Ten Kate Team. In the last four years there have been four victories and in the last two years, two firsts and seconds; the 2005 1-2 being completed in Winston colours. The objective therefore is to continue this extraordinary running flush, a hope bolstered by recent results obtained by World Champion Sebastien Charpentier, who is leading the championship with the maximum points available after three races. Last year he finished second behind his then team-mate Fujiwara, this year he wants victory, which would be his first at Monza. The Winston Ten Kate Honda Team also expect a great race from Kenan Sofuoglu after the last two unlucky races in Australia and Spain. The Turkish rider is looking for revenge and will do all things possible to reach the podium alongside his "captain".

    Ronald Ten Kate - Team Manager;

    "We cannot be disappointed about how the season started for us, but in Monza it will surely be even harder. Sebastien will find many rivals there who will do their best to beat him but he knows what to do in every situation. I hope to see Kenan back on the podium; this race could be a decisive comeback after the last two unlucky races. I am sure he can stick with the leading group in every race, starting from this weekend."

    Sebastien Charpentier - Winston Ten Kate Honda Rider;

    "Last year's second place behind Fujiwara is still burning inside of me: I want to win at Monza, this is my only objective for the upcoming weekend. But last year the Winston Ten Kate Honda Team took a great team result, with a first and second place and I hope to be able to repeat this with Kenan. I would like to see him with me on the podium, like in Qatar. He deserves it because he has always been fast in every circuit."

    Kenan Sofuoglu - Winston Ten Kate Honda Rider;

    "I am still sad about how things went in Valencia, but I have to look forward and learn from my mistakes. I want to thank the Winston Ten Kate Honda Team because they have always been close to me and I hope to give them a great performance: I have at my disposal a winning technical package therefore I am in the right condition to do well. The objective is to remain with the leading group and fight until the last turn. It would be fantastic to step back onto the podium."
