Racedays are holding a new fundraising event at Ascari, Spain, with all the profits going to Riders for Health. The exclusive trackday event will be held at the Ascari Race Resort, near Malaga, on the 27th and 28th of March.
GP500 legend Randy Mamola, MotoGP's Jeremy McWilliams, World Superbike's Dean Ellison, World Supersport's Iain Macpherson and Isle of Man TT heroine Maria Costello will all be providing instruction to riders over the two days.
The money donated to Riders will ensure that health workers in Zimbabwe, the Gambia and Nigeria continue to have access to well-maintained vehicles, allowing them to travel over the tough terrain to reach isolated communities. Health workers are often responsible for up to 20,000 people in their region, and these communities are often widely dispersed, so making sure that they have access to a working motorbike makes providing healthcare a lot easier.
