The grid positions for the sixth round of the 2007 World Superbike Championship were decided today in a thilling Superpole session that saw Noriyuki Haga claim the top spot. As the pole sitter in Sunday's race, the Yamaha Motor Italia rider will be awarded a special gift from series sponsor HANNspree.
The innovative LCD TV manufacturer will present Haga with a HANNSball.champion TV - a 9.6" screen set into a basketball surround. The Japanese rider will receive his gift from the HANNSgirls on the grid at the beginning of race one.
HANNspree will also award a television to Kenan Sofuoglu as the pole sitter for the World Supersport Championship race. This is the third consecutive round that the HANNspree Ten Kate Honda rider has secured pole position. For his achievement this weekend he will receive a HANNSvaas television - a 12" screen set into a wooden surround modelled on a cello - to add to his collection.
