Yamaha XT125X - 2005
Based on the XT125R, the XT125X is a supermotard-style machine that has been styled after the popular XT660X, and is designed to appeal to younger, style-conscious riders.
While the XT125R and XT125X share the same engine, frame and bodywork, the X model has completely different wheels, tyres, front suspension and brakes, giving it a distinctive supermotard look.
Chassis
The XT125X features 17 inch front and rear wheels, with a 100/80-17 front tyre and an extra-wide 130/70-17 rear tyre that underlines the supermotard image. The X model also runs
with a larger diameter 260mm front disc, and features different front forks offering 175mm of wheel travel, 5mm more than the R model.
Other detail changes include a black coloured box section swing arm (it is silver on the R model) as well as a new XT660X-style high level front fender featuring a low level rear section.
