2009 Honda DN-01
Introduction
All-new in 2008, the radical DN-01 is forging new
directions in motorcycling, matching futuristic cruiser
styling with the most advanced fully automatic transmission
ever developed for a two-wheeled vehicle, the Human-Friendly
Transmission (HFT).
A wide, low, comfortable seat (with spacious pillion
accommodation) back-swept bars and wide footboards
accentuate the relaxed riding position and touring
capabilities. Weight is distributed evenly for unprecedented
stability, especially at high speeds, while the geometry
is tailor-made for pleasurable, responsive handling.
Add Monoshock Pro-Arm rear suspension and impeccable
braking, and you have a cool, confident control.
Every finely honed component benefits from Honda’s
ingenuity, expertise and design heritage. The overall
result is a motorcycle that looks stunning and performs
with outstanding proficiency.
