1947 EL Knucklehead Custom built by master builder Mark Daley of Thunderstruck Custom Bikes.

This very unique, old school, award winning, show quality bike has been built with superb attention to detail by one of the west coast’s finest custom shops, and features many unique and handcrafted components. The engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt, and the bike has never been fired. Major components include: Paughco Swedish style frame, Paughco springer front end, Fully rebuilt engine, Fully rebuilt 4 speed transmission, Rivera 3" open primary, Foot Clutch, Suicide shift, Flawless paint and graphics, Hand fabricated handlebars, Custom pipes.

The frame is a one-off Cobra made with thinker tube, the rear wheel is a 240/80/16. The OMP caliper as a two pot polished with the OMP, polished floating disk, the front wheel is a Ricks wheel H Lector with a 150/80/16 with dual "pot polished OMP calipers. The SJP fat glide forks come with a 7o rake.

The 4.2 gallon Dakoto tank has a pop up cap and quick flow tap fitted. The paintwork is by Fred at Art Imagination. 

The lump is an S&S 113ci with compression relief and a G carb, gearbox is a 6-speed Baker.

It started life as a 1000cc iron head sportster way back in 1975 and was chopped soon after somewhere in europe (near England) and was shipped to the UK sometime in the early 80's where it was given a Q plate.  The guy who owned it had the motor gone through with S+S ballanced crank, S+S rods, high comp pistons, Andrews cams, twin plug heads, single fire ignition, Dyna coils and Mikuni flat slide carb.
