The deal marks Sendo's second consecutive year supporting British Superbikes (BSB), the world's largest domestic superbike competition and reinforces the company's passion and commitment to the sport. Dedicated team riders are championship racer and record holder, Steve Plater as well as the new star of the track, Jon Kirkham.
Sendo Global Marketing Director, Kevin Lawless stated that Sendo's success with Superbikes both on and off the track in 2004 was a key factor in elevating the company's commitment in 2005, and said that he was looking forward to further success this year.
"Sendo's 2004 partnership with Superbikes was extremely rewarding on a number of levels. Not only did it increase the company's consumer awareness but it also gave us a communication platform that resonated with our staff, customers, suppliers and Superbikes fans alike.
"This year, Sendo has significantly advanced its involvement and will be focusing our efforts on leveraging the Sendo Superbikes Team globally. Together with Kawasaki, Dienza Performance, and our two top riders, we are poised for success and have our sights set on winning more on and off the track."

Sendo's global Superbikes programme is already in full swing as it includes many exclusive off track events such as the unique Sendo Track Experience held in Spain twice yearly. The race action will kick off at the first Superbikes meet on 28 March at Brands Hatch. Sendo is concluding its customer programme which will see creative and impactful POS and on-pack promotions in multiple markets across Europe and South America.

Dienza Performance Racing are a motorsport race team with title partner Sendo, the UK's only mobile phone manufacturer. The team was created in 1997 by Enzo and Diane DiClemente and has consistently achieved a high degree of success since first competing in 1998. In 2002 the team progressed to the prestigious World Supersport series. However the lure of British Superbikes, the world's biggest domestic championship saw the team return in 2002. Since joining forces with Sendo in 2004 the team has grown into one of the most competitive packages in conjunction with Kawasaki to form the Sendo Superbike Team.
Jon Kirkham is one of the hottest young talents in motorcycle racing. Jon was introduced to motorcycling by his father. As a teen, his natural talent for motorcycle racing quickly became apparent. In 1999 he entered the CB500 Cup, which is known for nurturing young talent in the 'Star of Tomorrow' program. Although a young rider, Jon is a serious contender and is expected to deliver an exceptional performance this year.

Steve Plater started racing in 1994. In 1998 he won the very prestigious NW200. Steve was approached by Kawasaki as a result of his incredible race time at the BOL D'OR at the Paul Ricard circuit in France in 1999. Despite finishing third overall, he became the record holder for that circuit during the race. Steve's personal goal is to win the BSB Championship and then move on to become the World Super Sport Champion.
