KTM Sport | 990
Duke
After the successful introduction
of the 950 Adventure, our first two-cylinder
motorcycle, KTM is already presenting
the next motorcycle based on the LC8 engine
as pre-production model at the Milan show
the 990 Duke. We also enhanced our core
product lines in the off-road area: the
85 SX went into production and the completely
modernized 250/300 EXC now sets the benchmark
in the enduro segment. Consequently built
to suit the requirements of racers, they
are joined by our Supermoto Racing SMR
models. During the 2003 sports racing
season KTM has again won several World
Championship titles.
Once more the Rallye Dakar
winner was victorious on a KTM motorcycle
and the difficult task of competiting
in the Road Racing Grand Prix sport is
being mastered. The current worldwide
market environment is challenging therefore
KTM will continue to strictly focus on
our core competence Sportmotorcycles and
our clear commitment to the passion of
motorcycles the ingredients of their enduring
success. Enclosed on the CD Information
Kit 2004 and in our current 2004 brochures
you will find further details. We would
be honoured to welcome you personally
at one of our events to discuss our goals
and ambitions.
