Introduction
Neil began riding motorcycles at
the age of nine, he quickly demonstrated a great
talent for the sport and was offered a ride by Ducati
at the age of 22. His rise to the top was a slow
one but very well deserved, he has made his name
in motorcycling and should be around for a long
time to come. Few people know that he was the youngest
ever World Championship contender at the age of
18.
Hodgson began his road racing career
in the 125 cc and 500 cc categories and then moved
to Superbikes, he raced a Ducati 996R in the 2001
and 2002 seasons, it was not a factory bike but
was still one of the best balanced bikes. Following
finishing first in the British Superbike Championship
in 2000, he returned to World Superbikes.
